Questions pros ask

What does it cost the course?
Nothing. Hosting is free. If you take entry fees online, the only charge is Stripe's standard card-processing fee — charged by Stripe, not ParTab. You can also take cash and check as usual.
Do players have to use the app?
No. Signing up and paying works in any browser. Scoring on the phone is optional — the shop can enter cards or photograph them. Most players download the free app for the GPS maps and live board anyway.
What about handicaps?
Enter each player's index (or let them) and ParTab computes course handicap from the tee they play, so mixed-tee fields score correctly. Tournament Mode limits GPS to distances under the Rules of Golf.
Which courses are mapped?
40,000+ courses in 177 countries through our partnership with iGolf — satellite hole maps, front/center/back yardages, and tap-to-measure distances.
Can we use our logo and sponsors?
Yes — on the signup page, the poster, the tee sheet, the scorecards, and the TV board.
